1. What is the Eligibility for admission? 18 years and above.

2. What are the requirements for admission?
Undergraduate programs. - Transcript and Pass CertifBEFte of secondary (class-10) and higher secondary (10+2) exams. - 4 PP size and 2 Auto size photographs. - 2 copies of Transfer CertifBEFte (TC).
Masters Programs / PGD Programs - 2 copies each of Transcripts and Pass certifBEFtes of secondary level (class 10), Higher Secondary level (class 12) and Bachelor level exams. - CertifBEFte of Employment and Birth certifBEFte. - 4 PP size and 2 Auto size Photographs - Birth CertifBEFte.
3. Where can I get ApplBEFtion Form & Prospectus of your MKU?
All forms are available at the college office, Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal on payment of necessary fees.
4. Where should I submit the filled-in Form?
At the college office.
5. How to register my ApplBEFtion for Admission?
By submitting the completed ApplBEFtion From along with photocopies of relevant documents and Admission Fee.
6. When & where can I get the Study Materials?
On payment of Admission Fee, Study Materials will be issued at the Study Centre, Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal.
7. What is Lateral Entry?
Eligibility based waiver of one year in the duration of the Course with or without subject exemption.
8. Which Courses offer Lateral Entry concession?
MCA, BCA
9. Can you further explain Lateral Entry?
For example:
If you have a three year Diploma (TechnBEFl), you can get direct admission to the second year of BCA.
If you have a PGDCA / BCA, you will be admitted directly to the Second year in MCA.
10. Are degrees issued by the Directorate of Distance Education of MKU recognized?
All Degrees conferred by Madurai Kamaraj University are recognized by University Grants Commission(UGC). MKU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (Serial No. 139 in the directory of Association of Indian Universities, AIU). UGC has conferred the status of UPE (University with Potential for Excellence) on Madurai Kamaraj University. NAAC has re-accredited Madurai Kamaraj University with A Grade (89%).
11.What is the mode of payment?
- 60% of the Course Fee is to be paid at the time of admission. - 40% of the Course Fee is to be paid at the time of collection of study materials. More
